NTA NEET 2021 to be held on August 1: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 on 1 August. The NEET 2021 will be conducted offline and only once this year. Earlier, there was speculation that the Medical Entrance Examination may be conducted several times this year following the pattern of JEE Main 2021.

NTA NEET 2021 to be held on August 1
“NEET (UG) – 2021 will be operated in 11 languages including Hindi and English through pen and paper mode,” the NTA said in an official notice.
Candidates who clearing NEET will be eligible for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS courses. The application process will start soon on nta.ac.in and ntaneet.nic.in.
NTA NEET 2021: Documents Required
Candidates are required to prepare the following documents to fill their NEET 2021 application form –
- – Uploading of photograph, signature, left hand thumb impression and certificate of class 10th
- The scanned image of the passport size photo of the candidate should be in JPG / JPEG format and the image size should be between 10 KB to 200 KB.
- The scanned image of the candidate’s signature should be in JPG / JPEG format and the image size should be between 4Kb to 30Kb
- The scanned image of the candidate’s left hand thumb impression should be in JPG format and the image size should be between 10 KB to 50 KB
- Scanned image of class 10th candidate should be in JPG format and image size should be between 100 KB to 300 KB
- Post card size scanned photo candidate’s photo should be in JPG format and image size should be between 50Kb to 300Kb
Candidates have to get 50 percent marks to pass NEET. The eligibility criteria for OBC, ST and SC candidates is 40 percent while for EWS candidates it is 45 percent.
Admission in AIIMS and JIPMER has also been taking place through NEET since last year. Both the institutes used to conduct separate entrance exams for admission.
