JEE Main 2021 February Session Result to be Declared Soon, Here’s How Percentile Scores Are Calculated
What is a percentage score?
The NTA calculated percentage score is based on the relative performance of all the candidates appearing in the exam. For each session, the marks secured by the examinees are converted into a scale from 100 to 0. This means that the percentage score represents the percentage of the total candidates who have scored equal to or less than the highest marks scored by the candidates. The topper of each session will be ranked in 100 percent.
According to the official website, percentile digits are calculated to 7 decimal places to reduce the relationship.
Formulas for calculating the percentage marks of a candidate: In 100 sessions, the candidates appeared in the special session, which was equal to or less than the same number of marks, divided by the total number of total candidates present in that session.
The JEE Main 2021 result will be evaluated after examining all the objections and challenges faced by the candidates in the provisional answer book. JEE Main will also release the February 2021 final answer key after the NTA results are declared. There will be no reevaluation or re-examination of the result.
