Meanwhile, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also informed that the state government has decided to withdraw the RTET SLP in the Supreme Court against the HC order to issue a waiting list for English subjects in REET 2016 recruitment.
At present, the validity of the certificate of the REET exam is up to three years. However, before 2015, its validity used to be seven years. Dotasara said that the instructions of the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) to extend the validity of the TET certificate for life are being analyzed.

REET 2021 Exam Pattern
The REET written test will be held on April 25th. The board conducts the REET examination in two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. All those candidates who pass Paper 1 are eligible to teach in classes 1 to 5, while those who pass Paper 2 are eligible. Teach in classes 6 to 8. The minimum qualifying mark in the REET exam 2021 is 60 percent. For Scheduled Tribe candidates in Rajasthan, the minimum passing mark is 36 percent.
As per the rules, a certificate will be issued to all the candidates who pass the examination, which will be valid for a period of three years.
The entire application process for REET 2021 will end on February 8, 2019. For this year, the board has not released the number of vacancies. However, recruitment for more than 33,000 posts was conducted through REET in 2019.
New rules have come in for REET 2021. Only Basic School Teaching Certificate (BSTC) holders are allowed to appear for this year.
The fee submission date is from January 11 to February 4. The REET 2021 admit card is expected to be available for download on April 14.
Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara recently said that the NCTE guidelines are being re-reviewed, which led to the delay in issuing the REET notification.
