Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NTA UGC NET June 2024, candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in subjects such as Humanities, Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, or Electronic Science, with a minimum of 55% marks for General category candidates and 50% for OBC, SC, ST, and PwD candidates. For the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the upper age limit is 31 years as of June 1, 2024, with a relaxation of up to 5 years for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, and women candidates. There is no age limit for the role of Assistant Professor.
