IBPS Recruitment Notification 2022
Application for IBPS PO 12, 2022 started from August 2, 2022. IBPS PO Prelims 2022 will be held for Probationary Officers in participating banks throughout India on October 15, 16, and 22 (tentative dates).
The exam for online will be divided into two levels, 1. Online Preliminary and Online Main. Candidates shortlisted from the Online Main Examination will be approached for a Common Interview, which will be conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank. Candidates who qualify the online preliminary exam and are eligible will have to appear for the online main exam. Selected candidates will be provisionally assigned to one of the participating banks.

IBPS PO Recruitment 2022
Every year, a Common Recruitment Process (CRP), often known as the IBPS PO exam, is used to hire probationary officers (PO) and management trainees (MT). The IBPS PO / MT CRP XII 2022 is the official name of the CRP, which was first held in 2011 and is being held for the 12th time this year. To go on to the next round of the IBPS PO selection process, a candidate must pass each of the three phases (preliminary, mains, and interview). IBPS PO 2022 Exam Pattern
In the preliminary test, IBPS implemented different sections scheduling for each session. The Tier 1 or IBPS Preliminary Exam and Tier 2 or IBPS Mains Exam of the IBPS PO exam (CRP XI) will serve as the basis for employing applicants. After this test, there will be a face-to-face interview.
IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern
Each portion of the IBPS PO preliminary test, which will be conducted online, will last 1 hour and 20 minutes in total. There are three parts, a total of 100 questions, and a 100-point cutoff. In the IBPS PO pre-exam, there is negative marking, and 0.25 points are subtracted for each incorrect response. In order to qualify for the IBPS PO Main test, candidates must pass the cut-off in each of the three areas. Below are the details, broken down by section:

In eligibility the minimum cut-off marks must be obtained by the candidates for each of the three examinations. Candidates shortlisted for the Online Main Examination will be in sufficient number in each category, as determined by IBPS on the basis of requirements.
IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern
IBPS PO Main exam is also given online. It consists of 5(4+1) parts, carries a total of 200+25 marks, and lasts for 180+30 minutes. The main exam for IBPS will consist of a descriptive paper to shortlist the applicants for the post of Probationary Officer. The sections should be completed within the allotted time and in the same order as specified at the time of examination. In order to proceed with the interview process, a candidate has to qualify both preliminary and main examination.

Wrong Answer Penalty: There is a penalty for choosing the incorrect answer on the Objective Tests for both the Preliminary and Mains examinations. One-fourth of the marks allotted for that question will be deducted if the candidate responds incorrectly to an objective question. A erroneous response to a question that receives 1 mark, for instance, will result in a penalty of 0.25 marks. If a candidate leaves a question unanswered, i.e., does not indicate a response, there will be no penalty.
IBPS PO Interview
Applicants who qualify in the main examination are called for face-to-face interview up to 100 marks. The percentage required to continue with the interview is 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD applicants).
Generally takes 15 to 20 minutes, the interview questions on the candidates’ backgrounds, the banking industry, current events, general knowledge, etc. from a panel of bank employees. The applicants must arrive at the interview in neat clothing, with confidence, and with all necessary paperwork.
Final Score Calculation for IBPS PO Exam
The following factors are taken into consideration when calculating the IBPS PO exam’s final score:
• The Preliminary Exam (Tier-1) marks are only used to qualify for the Main Exam and will not be used to determine the final result (Tier-2).
• In order to be considered for final merit, candidates must pass both the Phase 2 and Interview.
• The final merit list will balance the IBPS PO Main test and interview 80:20, respectively.
• The final merit list for each category is based on the total score out of 100. The final candidates chosen are those with the highest merit ranking in each area.
