SBI PO Eligibility Criteria
SBI PO Eligibility Criteria according to official notification i.e Educational Qualification, Age Limit, No. Attempt etc.
SBI PO Educational Qualifications:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- Basic knowledge of computer is a must.
- The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute.

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks is conducted online. This test is of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections(with separate timings for each section) as follows:

Phase – II: Main Examination
SBI PO Main Examination: SBI PO 2020 Main Examination includes an Objective type Tests for 200 marks and a Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests is online. Candidates have to answer the Descriptive test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of the Objective Test, Descriptive Test is administered.

- SBI PO 2020 Descriptive Test: The Descriptive type test of the SBI PO 2020 of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks in Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
SBI PO 2020 Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination): SBI PO 2020 rules for Penalty for Wrong Answers There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. One-fourth of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Phase – III: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks)
Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks): SBI called for GD and Interview on the basis of aggregate marks of candidates Passed in both the Objective Tests and Descriptive Test are arranged in descending order in each category.
