Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)
- Technician Grade-I Signal: 18 to 33 years
- Technician Grade-III: 18 to 30 years
Upper age relaxation is available as per government rules:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD and Ex-Servicemen: as per extant rules
Educational Qualification
- Technician Grade-I Signal: B.Sc. in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation (or combination) from a recognised university OR 3-year Diploma / 4-year Degree in Engineering in the relevant streams.
- Technician Grade-III: Matriculation / SSLC + ITI certificate from NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade OR Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA) in the designated trade.
Engineering Degree/Diploma is not accepted in place of ITI/CCAA for most Level-2 posts unless the notification specifically allows it. Candidates awaiting final results were not eligible.
Application Fee
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refundable after appearing in CBT, after bank charges)
- SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD / Female / Minorities / Economically Backward Class: ₹250 (fully refundable after appearing in CBT, after bank charges)
Fee was payable only online through Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Card or UPI. Refund is credited to the bank account linked with Aadhaar.

Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS 40%, OBC 30%, SC 30%, ST 25%. Scores are normalised if the exam is held in multiple shifts.

- Visit the official candidate login page (link given in Important Links section below) or your regional RRB website.
- Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth / Password.
- Click on Login.
- Download the Admit Card / e-Call Letter.
- Take a clear printout (preferably colour).
