Primary Education Parliament wanted documents from 43,000 teachers: The Hon’ble Kolkata High Court had directed the CBI to investigate the matter of corruption in the appointment of primary teachers. There is going to be a new twist in that investigation this time. Intelligence agency CBI has summoned all the information regarding the recruitment of primary teachers. Therefore, the West Bengal Primary Education Parliament asked for all the information regarding the recruitment of teachers in the primary schools of the state.

After the formation of the new government in 2011, these primary teachers were given appointment letters by the government of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. CBI wants to verify all the documents in this regard. Therefore, the West Bengal Primary Education Parliament issued a notification for the documents. The CBI is probing the recruitment of 42,949 primary school teachers on the directions of the Calcutta High Court. Therefore, on an urgent basis, 42,949 teachers in excel sheets will have to send their recruitment documents to the Parliament soon.

According to the guidelines of the Parliament of West Bengal Primary Education, all necessary documents should be sent to the Parliament by Wednesday. A unique email number has been provided by Parliament for this. So that teachers can send the documents.

The education council officials did not say anything in this regard. But teachers and the “Bengia Teachers and Education Workers Association” have expressed great anger. According to him, if the government had taken transparency during the recruitment, then the teachers would not have been harassed in this way. He also requested the leaders and ministers to inquire more strictly in this regard.
