ToggleAlthough the exact pattern of NEET 2021 exam is yet to be revealed, it is expected to be in line with JEE Main Engineering Examination, in which candidates will have more internal options. Those who have prepared for the board examination on the basis of reduced syllabus will thus have the option to select questions from the part of the syllabus they have studied.
In JEE Main, candidates will have the option to answer only 75 questions out of the total 90 given in the question paper. The NEET exam usually consists of 180 questions, so it is expected that there may be a greater number of questions, out of which a candidate will have to answer only 180 of them.
The exam was conducted twice after the Supreme Court order last year. Also this year, the number of attempts may possibly exceed one, but officials have not yet confirmed about it.
Last year, the NEET exam question paper consisted of 180 multiple choice questions. There were 45 questions from Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions of Biology including Zoology. The total marks of the paper was 720.
