Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test– The KTET (Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test) exam is conducted twice in a year. The exam is conducted in four separate shifts for different levels – KTET Category I, KTET Category II, KTET Category III, and KTET Category IV. The KTET Category 1 exam is for Lower Primary Teachers; KTET Category 2 is for Upper Primary Teacher, KTET Category 3 is for High School Teachers and KTET Category 4 is for Language Teachers (Arabic, Urdu, Sanskrit, Hindi), Specialist Teachers and Physical Education Teachers. The KTET (Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test) exam is conducted twice in a year. The exam is conducted in four separate shifts for different levels. KTET exam conduct this year 28th & 29th December 2020 ( Tentatively) and Release of KTET Admit Card 2020 is 19th December 2020.
Kerala TET 2020: The Kerala Teachers Bhavan started the registration process for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test examination on Thursday 19 November. Candidates wishing to apply for this post should visit the official website of Kerala. ktet.kerala.gov.in. This exam will be conducted to fill the posts of teachers in the state.
This is a state level exam conducted in Kerala for candidates desirous of teachers of a lower primary, upper primary and high school classes. Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted twice a year.
To be eligible to teach in lower primary classes, candidates must have passed upper secondary or senior secondary with at least 45 percent. The criteria for upper primary classes is at least a bachelor’s degree and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Trained Teacher Certificate or one year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), according to the National Council for Teacher Education.
The application process will start from 19 November and will close on 27 November. The last date for print out of the application is 28 November. The admit cards will be made available on 19 December and the exam will be held on 28 December and 29 December. Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift is from 10 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift is from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
To apply for Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test exam, these steps need to be followed:
Step 1: Go to the official website and click on the registration link
Step 2: You will be asked for the key in mandatory details like name, mobile number, email, etc.
Step 3: Upload and submit the scanned photo in jpeg / jpg format.
Step 4: Now you will get a registration number
Step 5: Use this registration number to fill the form
Step 6: Enter all personal and education details and pay the fees online.
Step 7: Press submit button and save the confirmation page and a copy of the application form.
