Who can apply? Bihar Police SI Recruitment

Only candidates who have passed the graduation examination from a recognized university or its equivalent examination recognized by the Bihar State Government are eligible to apply for the positions of Police Under Inspector and Reserve Junior Inspector (Attendant) issued by the Bihar Police Lower Service Commission.

Additionally, male applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 37 as of January 1, 2020. Female candidates must be at least 20 years old and no older than 40. Following government regulations, there is also a provision for a relaxation of the maximum age for applicants from reserved groups. bpssc.bih.nic.in SI and Sergent Selection Process:

A preliminary exam and a main exam are the two levels of written testing that candidates must take. For 200 marks, the preliminary test will be an MCQ paper. For the Main exam, candidates must receive at least 30% of the possible points. There will be 20 times as many individuals qualified to take the Main exam as there are open positions.

The Main Exam will include two tests, the first of which will be on Hindi and require a minimum score of 30%. This paper is a qualifying one, hence it won’t be taken into account when determining the final merit list. General Awareness will be the topic of the second paper.

Then, six times as many applicants as there are available positions will be qualified for the PET and PMT, the details of which can be found in the official notification.
