UGC Announces online Courses: The Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC) has released a fresh notification for UG, PG Non-Engineering students. UGC announced new programs on the SWAYAM platform for the next academic session 2021.
UGC announced total 46 postgraduate and 78 graduate non-engineering Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCS) will be offered at the SWAYAM platform.
All those students who are interested in Massive online open course can apply for the same by visiting UGC website- ugc.ac.in or Swayam portal swayam.gov.in/CEC.

ToggleApart from this, UGC has also started specialized online courses on the SWAYAM portal for academic fraternity, professionals, senior citizens and housewives.
Candidates who are register as regular or part-time students with affiliated colleges and universities, including Delhi University (DU), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) are eligible to apply. The authorities have allowed students to avail course-credit transfer from this system.

Cancellation of withdrawal: UGC to universities
Earlier, on December 19, the University Grants Commission (UGC) directed universities and colleges across the country to collect fees collected from first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students in the event students withdraw their admissions or migrate in November.
