(a)– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent.
– Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50 percent in the relevant field and one year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
– or a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline with at least 45 percent marks and a Bachelor of Education in accordance with the Council for Teacher Education standards.
– Another option is Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50 percent marks and a four-year Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.),
– or a four-year bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc.B.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.) in the relevant subject with at least 50 percent marks or its equivalent.
– A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with at least 50 percent marks and a one-year B.Ed. (special education) is also accepted.

Note: Reserved categories, including Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, and disabled students, are granted a relaxation of up to 5 percent in the eligible marks for educational qualification.
(b)For Secondary Teachers of Sanskrit Schools (Sanskrit) focusing on Sanskrit literature/grammar, a second-class degree from a recognized institution is the educational qualification.
