IGNOU Re-registration: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the registration process again for January session 2021 and has extended the deadline for this till 31 January. As per the official notification released by IGNOU, candidates can now apply through the official website like ignou.samarth.edu.in or online.ignou.ac.in By 31 January.
The re-registration process applies only to students enrolled in undergraduate (UG) / postgraduate (PG) / semester-based programs over a period of two-three years. According to IGNOU, candidates can register for the next semester’s program, even if they have appeared in the term-end examination of the previous semester.
To apply online, candidates have to visit the website ignou.ac.in And register using login credentials. Fill the application form and pay the required application fee. Candidates will have to pay the fee in online mode through credit / debit card.
How to re-register for IGNOU January
- Step 1: Go to ignou.ac
- Step 2: Before filling the application form, candidates have to first register on the portal.
- Step 3: Click the “New Registration” tab to proceed.
- Step: 4: Enter your correct mobile number and email ID
- Step 5: If a candidate is already registered on the official portal, he can use the same username and password to log in as previously generated.
IGNOU Extends Last Date to Apply: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released a fresh notification to extend the last date for applying for admission by July 2020 to December 15.
Interested candidates who have not applied for the admission of IGNOU for the July session can sign the application form. samarth.edu.in. Candidates can submit the IGNOU admit card for the university’s undergraduate programs, master’s degree programs and diploma and PG diploma programs offered by the university.

IGNOU has also released re-registration for the January 2021 for candidates who are already offered by the Variety for a period of two-three years in undergraduate / postgraduate / semester-based programs.
The last date to apply for IGNOU re-registration is 15 January. Candidates can complete re-registration at Indira Gandhi National Open University (samarth.edu.in) using their registered user ID and password.
IGNOU July 2020 Admission: How to Apply
Step 1. Go to the official website of IGNOU admission https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/.
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the link for new registration
Step 3. Fill the required details and click ‘Register’ to complete IGNOU Admission 2020 registration. Candidates have to enter valid contact details as the registered user ID and password will be sent only to that person.
Step 4. Once registered, log in using your registered username and password.
Step 5. Carefully fill the IGNOU admit card and upload the required documents in the specified format
Step 6. Pay the registration fee online using the required credit card, debit card or net banking along with the required course fee.
Step 7. Receipt of admission fee and download the application form for future reference. In addition, keep the registered user ID and password securely for later login.
