CTET 2024 Registration: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has initiated the registration process for the CTET January 2024 exam. Aspiring candidates can apply on the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in. The CTET examination is scheduled for January 21, 2024, with the last date for online application submission and fee payment being November 23, 2023. This year’s CTET exam will be conducted in 135 cities and offered in 20 different languages.   • General Eligibility: Any candidate who has qualified for the B.Ed. A program recognized by the NCTE can appear in TET/CTET.
  • Teacher Education Course: As per the existing TET guidelines, a person pursuing any of the teacher education courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI (as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

6. What should be the minimum marks in CTET?

Any candidate is required to obtain minimum qualifying marks to qualify for the CTET exam. CTET Minimum Passing Marks – For the General category, you should get at least 90 marks out of 150 (60 percent), while for SC, ST you should get 82 marks out of 150 (55 percent).

9. How was the result of CTET in July 2023?

1501474 candidates had registered for CTET Paper-1, out of which 1213704 candidates appeared in the examination. Out of these, 298758 candidates passed. Whereas in Paper-2, 1402022 candidates had registered, out of which 1166175 candidates appeared in the examination. Of these, 101057 passed. 29 lakh students had registered for the CTET July 2023 session. 80 percent of its students appeared in the examination i.e. 15 lakh students for Paper-1 and 14 lakh students for Paper-2.
