CBSE CTET to be held on Jan 31, 2021: The CBSE CTET 2020 exam date has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The CTET 2020 examination, which was initially scheduled to be held in July this year but postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic, will now be held on January 31, 2021. Meanwhile, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ also tweeted, “14th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which was scheduled to be held in 112 cities across the country in July and postponed due to administrative reasons. The said examination will now be held on January 31. “” To maintain social distance and other security measures, the said examination will now be conducted in 135 cities, “he said.

The board gave CTET 2020 candidates a chance to change their choice of exam city from where they want to appear for the exam. CBSE mentioned that they are now open to receiving requests from various applicants for changes in the examination city. This was done because many candidates had to change their location in the wake of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The CBSE CTET 2020 Exam City Change Window will be open from November 7 to November 16 at 11.59 pm. The notice mentions that although CBSE will try to accommodate candidates in their preferred cities, they can be allotted any other city besides this. Four cities chose him, “if the situation arises”.

Newly added cities in the list of centers for CBSE CTET 2020 exam include Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa, Saran, Bhilai / Durg, Bilaspur, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Ludhiana, Ambedkarnagar, Bijnor, Bulandshahar. . , Deoria, Gonda, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur and Udham Singh Nagar.

Eligibility CTET July 2020

Primary Stage (Class I to V):

  • 10+2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • +2 (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 Norms OR
  • +2 (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR
  • +2 (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
  • Graduation Any Stream with 50% Marks and 1 Year B.Ed Examination OR
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education

Eligibility CTET July 2020 Secondary Stage (Class VI to VIII)

  • Bachelor Degree passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE Norms OR
  • Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. / (B.Ed Special Education)
